I share an interesting infographic about the future of higher education according to the experts of Wiley University Services, by 2025, in just 2️⃣years...😲⁉️

🚩My conclusion after the summary👇🚩

1️⃣The keys to the future of students go through:

🔶Now they think and behave like customers.

🔶They want to learn what is necessary to work with freedom of mobility.

🔶Expect fun, immersive and experiential experiences.

🔶They will still find challenges such as writing or critical thinking.

2️⃣The faculties should strive to:

♦️Update and open up to new technologies.

♦️Offer a multidisciplinary approach.

♦️Improve the teaching feedback system.

♦️Open to new didactic formats such as co-teaching.

♦️Have a 24/7 continuous learning system.

3️⃣From the institutions and programs... better not even talk...

👉Conclusion💡:

🔷I think that above all you have to be realistic, the age of tenured professors and their stability does not favor making too many changes (especially if they are on their part) and some faculties and departments choose to "leave things as they are " and not try too hard because "things are still going well". What is certain is that there are countries in which higher education will get worse before others, as is the case in Japan due to the low birth rate and the immobility of faculties and departments to adapt to changing times.

🔷I think the changes they propose are phenomenal, but in the end, the difference between those who don't want to evolve and those who want progress falls on the teachers' backs. Undoubtedly, these steps mark the future of higher education, but, by 2025? I highly doubt it!

🔷My prediction for the future is that in a few years private education companies will acquire greater importance than regulated education, since their quality standards are well defined and, above all, the evaluation of their staff is more rigorous than other options.
